How long does it take to receive results?
Shipping Time
Depending on your facility type, collection method, volume, and preferred shipping method, shipping times may vary. All Sensiva testing kits come with overnight shipping labels and return shipping supplies.
Processing Time
ALL Samples received in our lab are processed in WITHIN 24-Hours. The portal is updated immediately when the sample is received at the lab.
*If a sample is HELD, REJECTED, or UNREGISTERED, it will be delayed.
Processing and analysis on Sensiva COVID-19 specimens can range from 8-12 hours depending on volume and data complexity.
Saturday & After-Hours Collection
If the specimen is collected after the daily pickup (late at night) or on the weekend, we won't receive the sample the next day. Please take this into consideration.
Example: Specimen is collected Saturday at 9 PM. Because shipping cutoffs on Saturdays range from 3-6 PM and pickups are not available on Sunday, the specimen will not ship until Monday. We will receive the sample Tuesday morning and begin processing it immediately upon receipt.
Because of this, we have increased staff on hand every Tuesday to help with the volume influx from weekend specimen collections and generally process all Tuesday samples the same day.
