Managing Patient Email and Dependent Grouping Feature
What does this feature allow me to do for the patient?
This feature allows for multiple patients (dependents) to be linked to a master patient’s account so that all of their results are shared with the same account and email address.
How do I use this feature?
STEP 1- Register the Master Patient
Because we are going to link other accounts to the master, we must first register the master patient and their email must be entered.
*If you want to register the dependents first, you can, however, do not enter emails for them. We will link them in step 3
STEP 2- Register the Dependent(s)
After we register the master patient, we can now associate other patients with that user. Register the additional users as you normally would, without entering an email address.
STEP 3- Link the Dependent(s)
Navigate to the “Patients” tab and find the Master patient – click on their name.
Next click "Edit Email"
A grid will appear with all of the patients that do not have emails associated with them. Either navigate, or search to filter, and click the LINK button.
This will link that dependent with the master user, and all test results will be visible in the master user's patient portal, separated by name!
Once you have linked the correct patient(s) click save to confirm the change.
The patient profiles are now linked. When the master patient logs into the Seniva patient portal all tests associated with that email will be visible.
